MEDICAL COLLEGE INFRASTRUCTURE
The Medical College, Teaching Hospital and Residential facilities for staff are located at Yadavanahalli close to Bangalore – Hosur Main Road (NH-4). It is a unitary complex and all the facilities are located in this 26 acres of land.

Hospital (including OPD) : 52700 sq.mt.
Hostel & Residential complex : 23125 sq.mt.
ACADEMIC FACILITIES
LECTURE THEATRES: There are FOUR lecture theatres in the College Complex with 180 seating capacity & ONE lecturer theatre in the Hospital Block with 200 seating capacity. All are fully air conditioned with well equipped by LCD, OHP, Slide Projector, and White Board with a facilities to convert into e-class / virtual class for teaching.
DEMO ROOMS: In the Pre & Para Clinical departments, each department have TWO demo rooms and one each in Clinical departments. We have one demonstration room for every department in each of the wards of the hospital. All are well equipped with LCD, OHP, Slide Projector, White Board and Television.
COMMON ROOMS: There are two separate common rooms are provided for both Boys & Girls with attached toilet, Drinking water and Indore games facilities.
LABORATORIES: There are 07 Laboratories with the area of 225 sq.mts. and 02 small laboratories with the area of 115 sq.mts each are available including Preparation Room. They are all provided with stainless steel wash basin and every working table has a drawer and steam proof top.

- Laboratory – 1 (Ground Floor) = Histology and Histopathology
- Laboratory – 2 (1st Floor) = Biochemistry
- Laboratory – 3 (1st Floor) = Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacy
- Laboratory – 4 (2nd Floor) = Forensic Medicine and Toxicology
- Laboratory – 5 (2nd Floor) = Microbiology and Community Medicine
- Laboratory – 6 (2nd Floor) = Amphibian and Experimental Pharmacology
- Laboratory – 7 (2nd Floor) = Haematology – Physiology and Pathology

CENTRAL LIBRARY
It has built up area of 3100 Sq. Mts fully Air conditioned with a sitting arrangement for 430 students for reading. There is a provision of good lighting, ventilation and space for stocking and display of books and journals. We have provided one room for 150 students outside with a provision to bring their own books to read inside the Library. The Oxford Medical College Central Library is well equipped with Medical Books, Periodicals, CDs, DVDs, bound volumes, National and International Journals. The E- Library Facilities also include HELINET. The centrally air Conditioned and Automated library complements the rich learning experience. In library separate information centre with 40 computers having dedicate high speed internet connection is made available.

Mission and Objectives

With in the framework of the TOMCHRC-Central Library operates with the following objectives.
