Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, is situated on the outskirts of Nuh in Nalhar in Mewat district of Haryana state in India. Established in August 2012, SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALHAR is the Medical College of Haryana and the first in the Distt of Mewat. Presently It admits 120 students for MBBS course every year. SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI Hospital is the affiliated teaching hospital and has about 500 beds equipped with all modern facilities. The SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Haryana. It is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University Of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana, and recognized by the Medical Council of India. Shaheed Hassan Khan Mewati Hospital is located at a picturesque setting, merging with the foothills of Aravali range of mountains. The college is 75 km from Delhi on National Highway 8, 47 km from Gurgaon and 57 km from Faridabad. It came into existence in 2012 through a Government of Haryana Legislative Assembly (Medical Facilities to Members) Act, 1986 and The Haryana Legislative Assembly (Medical Facilities to Members) Rules, 1988. The University imparts Undergraduate medical education (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery). The college is accredited by the Medical Council of India. The main goals of the institute are to provide the quality medical education to under graduate students, to offer the highest quality of patient care and to set trends in medical research.
