Motilal Nehru Medical College Allahabad was established on 5th May, 1961 by former President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The college was earlier affiliated to University of Allahabad, but now is affiliated to King George’s Medical University (earlier known as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University). The college offers admission to MBBS programmes with an intake of 200 students on the basis of NEET scores. The college also has other hospitals affiliated to it such as the Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital, Sarojini Naidu Children’s Hospital and the Manohar Das Eye Hospital. All the courses of MLNMC Allahabad are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college also offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes based on the scores of NEET.
