Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth Faridabad was established in 1998 as Lingaya’s Institute of Management and Technology (LIMAT). In the year 2009, it was declared as deemed to be university under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 and was renamed as Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth. It is also known as Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth. The university is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC). Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth Faridabad is accredited by NAAC. The campus of the varsity covers an area of 27 acres and has 201 faculty members in total. As per the official website, Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth mission is to impart quality education to develop students for career in engineering and management fields.

The varsity provides diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated and doctoral courses. Admission to courses offered are done based on merit of the last qualifying examination and based on entrance score as well (depending on the programme). LSAT India scores are accepted for admission in law courses. CAT/MAT and JEE Advanced scores are taken into consideration for admission in the M.B.A. and B.Tech programmes respectively. Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth ensures overall development of the students and thus has collaborations with foriegn institutes. The training and placement cell of the varsity trains and provides placements and internships to students.

D.Pharma, B.Arch, B.Com, M.A., L.L.M etc. are a few of the Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth courses. Number of seats, eligibility criteria and fee structure varies from programme to programme. Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth Faridabad Scholarship

The varsity provides multiple scholarships to its students. To avail the scholarship offered by the university candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria determined by the varsity. Some of the Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth scholarships are programme specific. Only students admitted in the particular programme can avail the programme based scholarships. Students with excellent records in sports are also eligible for Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth Faridabad scholarships. As per the scholarship policy of the university, eligible students are provided with a scholarship amount for 1 year duration. To continue availing the scholarship, students need to maintain a good academic record.

The training and placement cell conducts placement drive at the campus for the final year students.
