Index Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (IMCHRC), Indore was established in 2006 by Mayank Welfare Society to cater to the rural and urban populations with free diagnostic and treatment modalities. The first batch of MBBS was admitted in 2007 & passed out in March 2012. Postgraduate  (MD/MS) courses were introduced in 2011. The college is approved by Medical Council of India and it is ISO certified. The college is affiliated to Malwanchal University, Indore. Presently, IMCHRC is a constituent unit of Index Group along with Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy & Paramedical College of Malwanchal University.

The nearest railway junction to the IMCHRC is Indoor Junction, and the nearest bus depot is Vijayanagar Bus Depot, they are about 22 km away from the IMCHRC campus. Ujjain Airport is about 72 km from the Index Hospital.

  • Student Grievance redresser cell: The Grievance Redressal Committee addresses any grievances raised by students related to general administration, examination/evaluation and any other problems related to day to day functioning.
  • Gender Harassment Committee: The committee is committed to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and takes active steps towards gender sensitization and elimination of sexual harassment.
  • Student Welfare Committee: The Students Welfare committee organises various activities on the campus, which include annual sports competitions, cultural festivals, and celebration of the national days. The board also organises social activities which include blood donation drives, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and awareness lectures for youth.
  • Anti Ragging Committee: IMCHRC has an anti-ragging committee for the implementation of the provisions of Anti-ragging Verdict. This committee monitors the measures taken by the institute for the prevention of ragging. The committee gives the judgment in the specific instances of ragging and complaints of ragging etc. It suggests the appropriate actions against the individual indulged in ragging.
