Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar is such an institute of higher learning that strives to inculcate the same spirit in our students so that it is disseminated to the society through them.

Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar College, Belonia (formerly Belonia College), was founded in the year 1964 with the initiative of education-loving people of Belonia with aspirations and hopesof providing higher education to the local students as well as the students from adjoining areas of South Tripura District to show them right path, to bring out their talents, to sharpen their skills, to motivate them towards a bright future.  The College has celebrated its glorious Golden Jubilee in 2014. This College, being one of the oldest colleges of Tripura, has been in the forefront in advancement of Higher Education and other co-curricular activities and is successfully producing graduates well equipped with necessary knowledge, ethics and values. Three undergraduate streams, namely Arts, Science and Commerce are running efficiently in this College with assiduous support from ateam of qualified, efficient, dedicated, hard-working, highly academic and student-friendly faculty members.The non-teaching staffare selflessly and sincerely offering their best for the development of the students, teachers and the college as a whole. The rich library, the pride of our college, with a collection of about 35,000 books is a storehouse of knowledge and information.
