Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital was established in June 1948. The college was established by the amalgamation of National Medical Institute and Calcutta Medical Institute. CNMC Kolkata is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. The institute offers admission to undergraduate programmes based on NEET UG scores, postgraduate programmes based on NEET PG scores and doctoral programmes based on NEET SS scores.
