Army College of Medical Sciences is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. It is aided by the Army Welfare Education Society. It was established in 2008 and offered an MBBS. The college is aimed at providing medical education to army wards. The reservation is as follows- 78 seats for the wards/widows of army personnel, 4 seats for the wards/widows of defence personnel, 14 seats for Defence Security Corps, 2 seats for All India Scheduled Castes and 1 seat each for Delhi Scheduled Tribes and All India Scheduled Tribe. The course is approved by the Medical Council of India. It is located near Base Hospital in Delhi Cantonment. Students pay around 4.3 lacs tuition fee per annum.
The College has the following departments- Pre Clinical (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry), Forensic Medicine (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology and Community Medicine) and Clinical (Dermatology, Anaesthesia, Radiology, Surgery, Paediatric, Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Dentistry, Orthopaedics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology).
